OUR SERVICES
At Timmins Electric Motors, we specialize in a range of electric motors for various industrial and commercial applications. In addition to offering new motors, we also provide overhauling services for industrial electric motors. Our target audience includes mines, wood mills, and personal customers in need of industrial electric motor maintenance, new motors, or water pumps.
Industrial Motor Overhauls: We are able to work on any 3 phase motors up to 10 tons. We are the only company in Timmins that can repair large, high capacity motors.
Pump Overhauls: We are a Flygt repair depot and we are able to work on many brands of pumps. We are also able to supply pumps from our distributors.
Fan Overhauls: We repair ventilation fans for mines and other industries. We carry fan blades for Hurley and Alphair fans.
Transformer Clean & Test: We perform dry ice blasting and test portable underground substations and power distribution centers. Our testing machine is able to perform Hi-Pot and Surge tests on these up to 12kV.
Gear Reducer Overhauls: We fully rebuild the gearcase and motor.
Drive Pulley Overhauls: We complete full rebuilds of the internal gearcase and motor.
Induction Brake Overhauls: A full overhaul includes re-insulation of coils, bearing replacement, applying dielectric insulating paint.
Stator Rewinds: When a motor is at the end of its life, we can rewind it and bring it back to life.
